High Pressure Water Hydro-Jetting
HydroJetting is by far the best way to clear your drains. Using a continual blast of high pressure water ( up to 4000 psi with 7 gpm of water flow ) through a hose being self-propelled down your drain line. We can clean the entire diameter of the pipe, not just the areas the metal cables can reach and scape. On the end of the hose is a nozzle, directing the water towards the walls of the pipe. On larger drains we use larger nozzles, some of them spin to clean the pipes even better, sometimes rotating in excess of 10,000 RPM's. Upon completion of clearing some stoppages like roots, we will run one of our many Sewer Line Video Inspection Cameras down the drain line to insure we did a great job and you received the quality job people like yourself have learned to expect from Professional Plumbing.
This is great for grease stoppages on kithcen drain lines and if we have a full size clean out on the main line we can cut out roots that cause stoppages which can stop your whole house from draining.
Now for the bad news...... it is much more expensive to do than a regular drain clearing with a cable. We highly reccomend using it on all drain line stoppages because it does do such a superior job of fully cleaning the entire diameter of the pipe. BUT we also know a cable will usually clear the problem drain, saving you enough to make you think about spending the extra money. IF you have a drain that is a constant and continual problem, have roots in your main line or use a lot of oils and grease in your cooking, you may want to consider doing a hydro-jet cleaning of your drain. Our fully trained and experienced plumbers will talk to you about Hydro-Jetting if they believe it could be an option that will benefit you.
For us, it is NOT about how much money we can make on a job, like some companies. We want you for life. We want you to reccomend us to your freinds and family. The only way this is going to happen is if you know we are doing our best to solve your plumbing problems the best possible way for a reasonable price.
Can Hydro-Jetting my drains damage them from the water pressure?
I have plastic pipes, will the high pressure water cut through them?
Can Hydro-Jetting my drains damage them from the water pressure?
Most homes built in the last 30 years have plastic drain pipes. These are very difficult to damage with the jetters. In some rare cases, in older homes with cast iron pipes, yes. But this is normally when the cast iron pipes are very old and already corroded most of the way or all the way though. Since a cable runs along the bottom of the pipe, it has the same possibility of causing damage on these pipes. On normal pipes that are in normal or good shape no damage occures to the pipes or fittings. In plastic pipes damaging the pipes is almost unheard of.

If left sitting in one spot for a period of time, sure. 4000 PSI is a lot of pressure, it is made to cut through everything inside your drain pipe. But it is also made so that it doesn't destroy your pipes when used properly. Some companies have a very high turn-over of employees, not giving them time to properly train the "new guy" on their equipment. We have an extensive training program on each piece of equipment and each new type of nozzle we get.
